Can't say I'm not disappointed that it's not a livery variant; on the other hand fleet uniformity is always nice. I guess the Hybrid novelty factor's just worn off then? Unless it gets vinyls, I s'pose.

They may well just get some special vinyl's advertising their Hybrid / Green Credential's externally as per Tfl Hybrid buses

Yeah the whole front was f**ked. It was the one that went head on into a Scania Omnilink in Kings Heath 2 years ago. It's been off road since.

Bloody hell that head on crash was 2 years a go, it only seems like it happened recently.
I do recall seeing a shops cctv footage of it , it appeared the driver of 4520 speeded up strange one.
Was the scania repaired or is that lying about somewhere.

The Scania involved was 1918, wasn't it? Now at WB (I'm not certain on this)

No, that one crashed on a YW 2 or 3 service, driver lost his life, hence why it moved from YW to WB

It was 1926. We have it now. Heard its a good bus

It was a 6 by Formans Road where 1918 crashed. The 2 turns off at Court Road before Formans Road.

Yeah basically the driver of 4520 lost control. He zoned out whilst driving due to some sort of condition.

I always think imagine being in that Scania and not being able to do anything about it.

There was a bit of a joke at the garage after the incident. I recall overtaking another bus on the 37 as an oncoming 37 stopped to give me way. The driver was covering his face as if my bus was about to crash into his lol. Good times.

I believe 1924 was named after the driver of 1918 that had the accident on the Stratford Road while on the 6.
