It would make sense for 4105 to be on the 301 as well as the Presidents will be the next type to be withdrawn

May be but the emphasis of the day is on the B6/10, Mercs & Spectras

Why?

There's a load of them on the 11, 18 and 49 everyday.

The 1, 73, 5, 83 and 89 also have them everyday @MW
The presidents aren't all going to be withdrawn by the end of the week it will most likely be 2016.

I bet every day on the 11 feels like a president running day :)

The Presidents won't be finished off until next year now, the Farewell Day is for the old runners that will be extinct from 4th October, your last chance to ride them and all that. Same as they did for the Metrobuses at AG a few years ago now.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley

Haha,

In fairness, for the past 14 working days, I've only driven one President versus 27 Geminis. Been on the bloody 11 for ages now, need a day on another route!

I've been noticing a consistently higher Gemini to Plaxton ratio on the 11

I bet the Plaxtons will get huge send off from the drivers !

The Plaxtons are better than the new MMCs on the 37 for me. Geminis are far more superior than both however.

I doubt they'd get a send off though. The Geminis will definately be missed from AG when they eventually go, and if rumour is anything to go by, I doubt these new Gemini Mk3's are better than the Mk1's.

There is still loads of Presidents on the 11 though and though there seem to be more Gemini than Presidents there still looks as though there is still a high number of President on there.

I am 99.8% coming.

Westy

There's a 99.9 % chance I'll pop up at some point, as I only live around the corner from the 301 route.

Might try & get some pics too!
