Their Wolverhampton services only really need single deckers due to patronage

The Verdes are usually in Wolverhampton on the 558 and schools, everytime I'm in town with time to spare I'd hope a Metrobus turns up but its always on the days im busy the Metros turn up, anyone from Green Bus who reads this, Metrobuses on the 558 please lol

You occasionally see Verdes on the 50A too, one was out today on it.

Going through the fleet list, and other than the tridents they seem to be all ex Diamond, and the new Rotala gemini. Is there a reason for this? Some kind of deal with Rotala, or do they just happen to use the same second hand buyer?
My local's the 3 and 63.
Casual bus user. Doesn't know much other than some buses look nicer than others.
Contractual web developer, self employed game designer/programmer, Wolverhampton bjorn and bread.

Diamond haven't operated Metrobuses, if I'm correct?

It's just a coincidence. Diamond aren't far from The Green Bus so it's practical.

I think true because since the 98 was extended the 64 has less loadings (it used to be busy providing the only link between the QE Hospital and Northfield) and especially the last service of the day used to get quite busy
mmm extending to city I guess there will be some competition between TGB and NXWM as if it gos to city via Harborne (thats 10,22,23 routes) and its final destination is Rubery then people may just get the 98 to rubery instead
THough I still use TGB as £1 fare  :D (though i suspect as Redditch is outside the region the fare would increase)

I do like using the Green Bus and will definitely be using this to go into town from Northfield. It's a great route and much quicker than the 29 for getting to Harborne and it's just £1 which is brilliant and I do hope that this will still continue. Now it's going to town will then mean it won't be able to use metro buses though. It also shouldn't take to long in getting into town and if it does keep the £1.00 cost then I can see the route doing really well. Plus Saturdays is a bonus!

That's fair enough as the 29 takes way too long :P
Probably needs new buses to meet emission rules
