Two Spectras arrived today, one is fleetnumber 711 (S897 BYJ) and unsure of the other one, possibly 710 or 712

Also one new Trident Y472 NHK (Voith) on loan from "Peoples Bus" but in Stagecoach livery, was on my school route this morning

Metrobuses on the final day of the 558 on Friday will be 464 and 458

Thought they would rum a wmpte metro for the last day! Oh well.

No, they will run on school services for the rest of this academic year (and there's always the very remote chance of one being put on the 50's)

What most people don't realise is that members of the public are just as entitled to use TGB's school services as kids are, if you see a Metro on a school route coming and you have £1.50 (or a conc. pass), flag it down and get on it ;)

Matt I'm afraid your wrong about a slight chance of Metros appearing on the 50. As SQP rules state NO step entrance buses, this prohibits Greenbus from using them on the route.

Well when I was at TGB a few weeks back we were taking Metrobus 313 to Redditch to do something, and we would've run an extra working of the 50 to Maypole on the way but it was after 9:30am so couldn't, nothing to do with it being a step entrance bus

We've only had one member of the public board so far this year, on my part of the route anyway, it's a shame as anyone wanting to go from Halesowen to Bearwood (and anywhere in between) on a 9 may as well get the HC2 if they're paying single fare (or conc.) as it follows the same route
