Fortunate! I saw a Spectra on it and thought oh I'll pop to Stourbridge, 2 hours and 2 breakdowns later I've nearly made it

464 was on the HC3 this afternoon, the one day that the right-hand lane of the Hagley Hill was coned off, meaning 464 took 2-3 minutes to crawl up with nothing able to get past (464 being by far the slowest Metrobus). The queue behind was hilarious

I do not know of any such "school swimming contracts". It was most likely just private hire

Optare Spectra S879 BYJ was on the HC2 today, with fleetnumber 204. Certainly faster than the NXWM Spectras, cruised past two Metrobuses and a Trident up the Hagley Hill today

If anyone wants a photo of Spectra 204, it's usually on my school route HC2 and is at Halesowen bus station about 16:05 and Bearwood about 16:20. Having said that I'll probably get something else tomorrow knowing TGB ::)

I've been told by Matt that these maybe on his school route from now on. Apparantly they sound the same as WN's but are much faster!

Yes 204 in particular, can't say anything about 205 as have never had it. It is the fastest Green Bus decker now in terms of hill climbing, beating Olympians and ZF Tridents
