First Bus - Leicester

Withdrawn Volvo B7Ls 66303, 66305, 66309 & 66319 have all been moved from Leicester to Stoke.

69438 is currently away for repaint.

What about 66840? That made the move as well?

35153 is in the depot for repairs.
35169, which hasn't been out in a week or 2, is sitting in the corner of the depot.
69439 and 69441 are in the maintenance bays, but that may be just so they could run the Running day outside.

No, 66840 is still a Leicester allocated vehicle.

32645 either broke down or had a slight accident. It has been on Charles street for the past hour, with a mechanic van behind it. The driver and mechanic both were behind the vehicle clearing up what looked to be glass.

The 22 has fallen to pieces with it, with 45 not able to continue, and with the other buses being delayed, with some up to 40 minutes late.

63350 developed an oil leak when I travelled on it on the 25 at around 1. It was taken out of service and subbed with 66852.

Confirmation from the MD today states that;

• Leicester will get Worcester's 9 StreetLite Max's.
• Volvo B9TLs coming into Leicester will displace 32643-6 to Worcester while 4 of Worcester's Tridents will move to Essex

This is the current plan, but plans have the potential to change!

I've heard Bristol are keeping the others of the batch. Similar Eclipse 2s previously based at Bolton are rumoured to be transferring to Leicester

69438 has also entered service on the 18 today. As @47609FireFly said, it's not been refurbished.

I read the other day that a HY09 Registered B7RLE with South Wales is due to transfer to Leicester shortly. They are getting Ex Glasgow E200MMCs so more Volvos may be transferring to Leicester
