63106, 63107 & 63108 arrived at Abbey Lane on 14/08/2019.

I've read that the 17's due a similar livery to the 18 (probably those Streetlites that arrived yesterday) and some 12-plate Volvos are due to arrive and be put in a yellow livery for the 88 and 88A.

I was thinking it would be clever they do that. I actually had in mind 69438 for the 18, 69439 for the 17, 69440 for the 88/A and 41/42 as spare. That doesn't make much sense, but I just had some strange idea of it.

Those eight could well be the ones expected in Leicester (which would make sense).

What is clear is that the Bolton sale has triggered an enormous set of cascades across the group, so I doubt we're done quite yet.

According to bustimes, 63108 entered service yesterday.
Apparently 63180 also did according to bustimes.


However I don't believe either, as 108 appeared on the 13, with 180 on the 14. However, both journeys were duplicates of already operating services. 108 did the same run as 63345, and 180 did the same run as 63346.

I was confused when I saw that too. 63108 has been here for a week now along with 63106 and 63107 and having not been in service the entire time, I'm guessing they're being repainted into one of those upcoming new liveries, either the 17 one, in which case they'd always have one spare if something was wrong with one or the 88/88A one and 63358-63366 will also be getting that when they come up. I also didn't know we were getting another 63180.

I forgot to mention earlier that 69440 hasn't been out since the 12th so I'm guessing that's gone in for repaint now.

Yes, It was the same ish case when we were allegedly getting 36221, 63070/071/008/038 and whatever the other one was.


I do look forward to the 18 and 88/A livery's. I would care about the 17's, but I've done the entire 17, so I see no reason to ever go on it again.

63106 has entered service on the 88/A today. This one I do believe as it's run multiple journeys so far, and it's runs aren't shared with other vehicles. The livery nobody knows what it is yet, so it'll be a surprise for when we go to town.

63107 has also entered service today, also, like 63106, on the 88/A.

I hope they did a better job applying the contactless panels at the back on it and 63108. They did a terrible job on 63106.
