Thanks for that neat overview! They're certainly making progress with repaints and refurbs. Presumably, TWM livery on vehicles staying in the fleet is unlikely to last into 2015, at least not on many vehicles at all.

How many repaints and refurbs would you say are taking place on average per month? It must be somewhere in the region of 10? or is that too many. If it is around that, then they should manage to get every vehicle that is staying into the right livery by the end of the year.

Then, presumably, attention will turn onto vehicles repainted into NX livery a while back or those where the interior was not refurbished.

Anyone know how many there are of these (i.e repainted into early NX livery but interior not refurbished)?

@DiamondDart i can't say about other garages but WN have several Mercs and Tridents unrefurbed but in NX Livery:

1661 and 1671 (I don't know if 1670 is refurbed or not?)

4535,4546,4549,4550,4551,4552 and 4578 are the early repainted Tridents that are unrefurbed

The mercs will possibly be replaced with cascaded Double Deckers later in the year and with only 12 Tridents left to do (3 in for paint at a time) it will whittle down how many buses are in TWM livery at WN (If WN have a batch of cascaded Tridents that are all or mostly in NX Livery then WN will have all its buses in NX livery by the end of the year)

Thanks @Nathan (hope that'll work!!). I think BC have a few ALX400's like this plus some of the 54 reg geminis and b7tl/alx400s at WB and PB.

There must still be a fair few like this around-hopefully they keep going with the repaint/refurb programme even after everything is in the right livery!!

That tallies up with my own Coventry-related notes. CV do have an extra bus to be repainted into NX livery - namely 4453 - obviously its not in TC/TWM colours, can't remember if it has been internally refurbished (I'm assuming it has).

I thought that it would have a good chance of been repaired, being one of the newest Tridents, even though it is 9 1/2 years old

I've no idea how bad it is, I haven't seen, or heard the end result of the fire

Tony - thanks for posting the summary - anyone know what the reason for 1819 being out if use is? And any news on 4613? Is it back @ Liverpool street? Or elsewhere (eg Carlyle)

From Tony's list there are 18 vehicles currently in the process of repaint - at a average of three weeks for each refurb, the whole lot would be done within about 16 weeks (4 months). Possibly less because I thought they were generally away for two weeks - it obviously depends how much work is required.
