Am quite surprised that NE aren't thinking of another livery change, what will the paintshop do when all the fleet is painted.

Repaint/refurb the early NX liveried buses with connector bars that weren't refurb'd & the red is now pink?

Repaint/retrim the 57 plate E400's @ YW & WA

I suppose they could finish off the PE Enviros that they didn't complete?

Definitely, but I think priority should be given to tattier buses in early NXWM livery that weren't re-trimmed. The 09 plate E400's would be fine as they are for another 12 months

PM

Early NX spec Omnilinks are getting on for 6 years old-ideally they'd be done. The PE 09 enviro's look pretty messy as do some WA b7rle's that were done earlier on. Plenty of geminis are unrefurbed inside and repainted pretty badly, as is the odd trident. The 03 ones look pretty untidy with connector bars etc.

All in all, I hope NX continue getting through repaints/refurbs at the same rate even when everything is in the same livery!!

Liberator9

The Tridents and Geminis with only the repaint need to take priority. The Omnilinks at YW and AG may just need an internal retrim, as the bodywork is still in excellent condition on them. The WA ones though do look rather tatty. But I'd rather the Tridents and geminis go first, even above the older enviros.

mranon

it would be nice to see the buses in a uniform livery and trim. as for the paintshop, maybe once fleet is all in the same livery, they could be busy with tidying up knocks and scrapes repaired by each garage to keep vehicles on the road to keep the fleet smarter.

84 - with the death of 1636 at Coventry

This means exactly a quarter of the vehicles still in TWM livery are at Wolverhampton!

I have a feeling 1548, 1608 and 1612 will be goners by next week seeing as the reduced summer holidays time table has now begun. And by the time the normal time table resumes the new enviros will have been delivered won't they?
Favourite buses currently:
