Stratford staying open for now but all maintenance etc is Leamington done. The new depot has 10 pits and is fairly big in size, bigger than the old one.

Stratford is now an outstation of Leamington (as from 18 December 2016, when several duties and vehicles transferred to Leamington).   It has a fixed allocation of buses - currently 5 open top Tridents, 2 ADL Enviro 400s and 6 Scania Enviro 400s.  Stratford still has some duties on the X18, 26 and 50.

The new Leamington depot is large enough to house Stratford's fleet, but I understand that whatever past thoughts may have been, there are no plans for Stratford to close.

Thanks very much for your reply - very informative.  My suspicion, based on a brief visit to Stratford yesterday, is that at least some of the 8 vehicles allocated to Stratford have been changed.  Yesterday there were Tridents on the 50 (17511) and the X19 (17567) whilst the 19 had an E200 from the 3694x series.   However, these are, according to the spreadsheet on this site, the usual allocations for these routes, yet they would seem to be the obvious candidates for allocation to Stratford.

I think that the 19 is a Leamington operation as I believe that the bus comes from an X17 (though I may be wrong). The 50 has been Stratford based X18 branded Scania Enviro 400's in recent times as well.

Yes, the 19 is a Leamington operation - it has been since February.  Leamington also have duties on the X19 (I said 26 in error yesterday) and the 50.  Stratford doesn't have any duties on the X17, so I think the X19s that interwork with the X17 are all run by Leamington.

However, if Stratford are short of buses, they borrow from Leamington.

And this bit under Manchester:
" Two further Enviro 400s to be cascaded to Stagecoach Midlands are 19085 and 19091."
