Any excuse to post this. (Just noticed, Wolverhampton almost exactly average).

Isn't west bromwich getting some new buses towards the end of the year ?

NXWM Spectra

It was confirmed that there are no single deckers on order. Does that then mean that there will be no new single deckers in Dundee either?

It wasn't confirmed no single deckers were on order did it? I know it was confirmed that no Volvo single deckers are on order.

I must have misunderstood. This seems to mean that there are some single deckers on order, just not Volvo. Possibility of E300s?

Trident 4609

Its a possibility. I can see some E200's arriving to (For WA)

Not this year.

What will replace the B6LE at WN then BN?

Is the intention for the B6LE to remain in service until 2015?

Liberator9

I'm surprised YW has got the second oldest fleet; must be due to the Liberators, Presidents and Tridents there. Going on that table AG also deserves some new double deckers certainly for the 11A/11C.

Winston,

They aren't really required other than the 62 service. Which we could drop?

Thanks BN,

I see, so the majority could just be cascaded out then

The 28 and 82 also see B6's but Spectra's could easily take over the 28 (Quite a few Spectra's have been making appearances on there lately plus the 28 does require dd's at certain points) and Mercs/B7RLE and possibly a couple of tridents could easily cover the 82. As stated by BN the only route that requires B6's is the 62/A (Which I hear may be dropped)

It's time for new buses for AG for the 37 - we have them every 4 years (B10Bs 1996, Presidents 2000, Geminis about 2004, B7RLEs 2006 and Omnilinks 2010. We're spoilt here! I'd like the new Wright lightweight integral double-decker with 4-cylinder Merc engine -  Arriva's existing Wright Gemini 'integrals' are good buses, with a better ride than E400s.

AG Scania's from the 37 could make ideal cascades to allow the remaining B10L's to be withdrawn at WA & YW & join existing Omnilinks at those garages.

I don't think your wish for Volvo's will be granted, as none are confirmed on order.

Liberator9

The Scania cascade idea is a good one; send 9/10 to YW and the rest to WA; however I still believe the next order for AG will be for the 11A/11C as they need it more.
