Monday - Saturday: 4 buses an hour
Sunday: 6 buses an hour (3 buses an hour terminating short at Swan Island)

I hope you mean @Matt!

Aha! Can't tell you two apart sometimes :P @Matt

@Nathan @Matt ok. @Stu before I forget to mention, the (WA) 70 is another route that has a 30 minute frequency Mon-Sun, it is aided Mon-Sat by the 69 and 70A to create a 7/8 minute frequency on part of the route

The 89 takes a slightly different route from Rushall to Pelsall ;)  You also have Arriva's 8A which goes through Rushall and serves Pelsall.

WN3 and 4 are every 15 minutes each in the day but drop to hourly evenings and on Sundays

WN11 is every 9 minutes (excluding Travel Express) but is every hour on a Sunday Night (Only warrants an hourly service on a Sunday night!)

Gareth

One of the biggest frequency drops I've experienced is with the 146. I used it regularly 2000-2004. Then it was every 30mins in the daytime with early mornings and my last bus from Hopwood to Birmingham was 10.30pm. Around 2003/4 it was increased to every 20mins in the daytime with route branding and was always well used. I looked at the current 146 timetable the other day. I was totally shocked at this now almost non existent service!

Previously there was the 331 Walsall-Willenhall route. I'm sure at one point, combined with the 331A this was up to every 10 minutes, but was gradually reduced and now doesn't exist!

I'm not sure whether the thread has been set up before.

Another thread I have been meaning to set up for some time

Which route in the Midlands (I suppose if you can think of others from other parts of the country then that's fine too) has the biggest drop in frequency?

Eg NX WN 11 is every 8-10 minutes during the day Mon-Sat but on a Sunday evening its every hour

Also NX PN 9 is every 4 minutes at peak times but late night its every 30 minutes at night

Where do you get every 4 minutes from for the 9? try almost halving that.

Evening peak from Quinton to Birmingham buses depart at 16:46 16:50 16:54 17:01 17:05 17:09
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Two peak hour extra dropping into the timetable at Quinton against the peak flow which when they arrive in Birmingham are the standard 7/8 minutes apart for the return journey is not a service with a 4 minute frequency
