Cheers for the info

Agreement has now been reached between NX and West Midlands Police that the three buses that have been at RAF Cosford are to pass to the ownership of Wythall Transport Museum.

The vehicles are

Metrobuses 3070 & 3091
President 4039

This is the first president into preservation

Tony,

I assume that you mean the first West Midlands Travel President into preservation as there are lots of ex London Presidents already in preservation.

Quick question are any Leylend Lynxes in preservation, I know of one in the Silver and Blue WMT livery with coach seating, just just wondered if any others had been persevered, paticularly with Wythall or Aston Manor??

As much as I don't like Presidents, it will be nice to see one restored. I'm guessing the metrobuses would be for spares? I do like a metrobus obviously, but there are lot of them already restored. However an as new condition example like 3057 would be most welcome.

Have any B6BLEs been preserved?

That's a B6LE.

I think there's an Arriva B6BLE preserved

What's the difference between the two of you don't mind me asking. Thought they were the same thing.

The B6BLE was an update to the B6LE, it came with independent front suspension and an altered chassis frame to give it more floor space.
