Doing the shuttle between Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove station and the Norton Collection Museum. It belongs to Transport Museum Wythall

I'd lost track of progress on 7001 but this recent video shows there's been plenty.

I still retain hope that 3436 sees the light of day before I shuffle off.

Wow, didn't realise that one was still with us!

That'll be a hefty job. Wish them all the luck!

I understand that, although it looks as rough as a badger's derriere, the majority of it is quite solid. seems the harsh weather north of the border suits these early Fleetlines!

Good luck to Smith's of Patna and can't wait to see its progress!

Blimey, I assumed that one was long gone. Ex Walsall, Bilston Street, Hockley, Lea Hall and Cotteridge.

Other preservation topics:

Has Foden ROC300R been seen in the West Midlands since its renovation? I would have thought it ideal for the 50 anniversary at Wythall but haven't seen any photos of it there.

And I still wonder if I will live long enough to see 436KOV restored and running again :)

The Foden belongs to someone at the NWVT museum at Kirkby. It has never visited Wythall up to now. I rode on it at Kirkby and it sure motors well.
