Would 1454 have been on the 93*s as well today?

Liverpool Street

It could have been an X56 missing so maybe 'any drivers know the X56?' - its what sometimes happen on BC routes especially when a 900 goes down or an X64.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Ladies and Gentlemen.... I present to you a "noteworthy" working that I'm so happy I've seen: 1454 on the X56
Caught it home from work today (didn't even think the X56 ran today but there you go). Was ace to hear a B10 having a stretch on the A34, brought back the days of them appearing on the 951/2 etc all that time ago.
Even had to display "Burntwood" because presumably the B10's don't have Boney Hay on the roller blinds. Even stranger it was on a W29 board

EDIT: Got a picture at Tower Hill when I got off, but as I do not have Flickr and the pic is too large to attach on this post I'll have to resort to facebook if anyone wants to see it with their own eyes.

According to NX bus website, one journey operates each way today & tomorrow, presumably this was the 17:40 from City
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Very rare indeed! I imagine as its a Saturday service it is running board W29/05 which normally finishes at Walsall at 1654. This could then run dead to Birmingham to work the 1740 X56 over the Festive period!

Presumably the emission rules are suspended over the holiday?

True Nathan, these rules confuse me.

I had heard that it was only Monday to Friday 7am till 7pm, so Saturdays & Sundays surely any bus can operate any service.

The X56 runs once a day in that direction. So I wouldn't think emission rules would be an issue

I think this W29-05 board also does 34 in morning before going on a 29 for
0915. So might be a B10 on the same board tommorow if I c it ill post it.

Gemini, I think it was 4513, on 48 in Bearwood at 10:45, not sure how unusual it is but first one I've seen.

WB freshly repainted Trident 4294 on route 45

That's 2 on the 45 today, unusual to get one, let alone 2 in one day ;D

A Trident on the 45 would be extremely rare
