So has 4002 never had a seat refurb in all its years then? Just shows how the darker blue and orange spot moquette has lasted much better than the twin peaks which looks awful on most of the un-refurbed Tridents

Probably not, just had odd seat cushions replaced on an as & when basis. The older dark blue moquette with red flecks does seem to wear much better, it took much longer to fade & masks any dirt.

Very correct indeed with 4001 and 4002 numbered 1 and 2 respectivley then the fleet numbers changed to 4001/2

a 41xx getting a second refurb is 4179. It was done complete with new engine 18 months ago, but the paintwork was wrecked by an ipod advert and it was vinyled over. It has gone to Walsall for a fresh repaint and getting seats retrimmed again at the same time.

Another 41xx being done more deservedly is another ex Ipod advert 4197

What a complete waste. Why do the seats need redoing when there are buses around at West Brom that have never seen this sort of attention!!! Fair enough paintwork but seats as well

4197 more deserved as tony says, soho road ALXs please nextIf its policy to retrim at repaint then fair enough, 4179s interior isnt too bad anyway but the paintwork got wrecked too quick, as for

And I remember 6005 been new refurbishes seats in October 2011 then till December to withdrawn and won't take new seats from 6005 put on 6012 can't do it because it's won't fitted up. 6005 is different shape seat modern and 6012 is more different than 6005 modern.

6013 - please don't email travelcare about why they haven't retrimmed the bendibus seats. It will be wasting your time and theirs.

Who? Never heard of them and echoing Gareth's comment have absolutely nothing to do with National Express Coventry whoever they are/ if they exist

And of course they couldn't take the seats out of the o405 bendis and put them into the o530's as they are completely different buses!
