Refurbs

Yet again I say this why are 45- batch buses being done when there are far worse 41- and 42- batches unrefurbed. Are they to be sold cos at this rate it aint worth refurbing them!!

Sorry if this may have been mentioned before, but 4321 is now refurbished and was gleaming in the sun yesterday on the 60.

Because other than the Spectra's, the 45-- Tridents are now WN's next oldest double deckers, many are still in TWM livery with equally threadbare seats. It may also be down to commitments NX made as part of the Wolverhampton network review

You find 4135 is WN's next oldest Tridents. And 4135 could do do with a repaint although the interior isn't bad

You find 4135 is WN's next oldest Tridents. And 4135 could do do with a repaint although the interior isn't bad

I was on about on masse, 4135 had a refurb at WA when branded for the 51

Spectra 4002 has old blue moquett from 1999 used on B6/B10L/Merc when new

4001 & 4002 arrived much earlier in 1998 than the production batch 4003-4022 which have the lighter blue moquette

Yes I think so, along with 6001-6011, Solo's and Excels.

Moquette is the proper name for the seat coverings.

So has 4002 never had a seat refurb in all its years then? Just shows how the darker blue and orange spot moquette has lasted much better than the twin peaks which looks awful on most of the un-refurbed Tridents

Well i think its 4310 or 4311 one of the pull down seats has the old blue/orange 'Metrobus' moquette.


Saw 4002 today and yes it still has the original moquette.
