The Dudley to Wwest Bromwich section of the 74 I feel fairly comfortable using, the 14 I did once see a driver get called every name under the sun by some scruffy girl who tryed using an invalid pass. It is a fear mentality that makes people criticise some routes and if it worked on the 6 and 37, try single deckers on the 74 just at a very high frequency

As I've mentioned before, I'll soon have the pleasure of travelling all the way from Bloxwich to Great Bridge via bus.(Unless some kind soul gives me a lift!)

What's the 42 & 43 like between West Brom & Great Bridge, compared to the 74? Do they use the same stop in Great Bridge where you cross a bridge to get to the ASDA?

The 42/43 use the same stops as the 74 on both sides in Great Bridge, there is a temporary road surface on the high street in West Brom by carters green so could be a bit of a nightmare for a few days/weeks if using the 74. Personally if i had to choose i would use the 42/43 over the 74 and cut out the high street also the 74 is always stop/start as most of the buses are quite busy compared to the 42/43 as their is diamond aswell.

I rode it on the 89 this afternoon. In the photo the red looks like the old shade of red they used but actually it has a very bright shade of red.

When is 4599,4585 and 4601 back?

4599 has been back for about a week, it's currently in garage but shoul be in service soon.

Also when 4182 is completely refurbished and repainted will it go straight to BC or will it go back to YW first before it moves to BC

Yes they are. 4049 is another now being done
