Those SJ04 DV* Volvo's are shit anyway my mate drove them when he was working at Redditch so in all honesty KD can do without even more dreadful buses like those

went past kidder first time for along time on boxing day there seamed   more buses park around the back . than where the operational fleet is park.  was in a car so did not get a good look

I know @Cedric but you see the problem at the moment is the scrap value price is so low Rotala won't let any of them go until it increases so those dead buses currently at KD may well be there until at least May maybe beyond then I can't personally see them still being there this time next year but I guess it's a wait & see what happens game

30905  broke down this morning just starting   to turn out of Dixon street on new road blocking on lane  I was on a centro that was on the 10 which pulled up along side to enable  passangers to transfer  it was a really tight turn  from the wrong lane to get in to new road as the centro was one of the long ones . with 30905 being none DDA wondrer if is something that will cost a lot to repair  if thedy will bother.as it  will be able to be used after Thursday ?

As far as I know Oxford Street is only being closed up to the junction mini roundabout with New Rd/ Marlborough St. The bit past Dunelm up to the ring road should still be open. So buses should go from the bus station, along Corporation street then left onto New Road, right onto Oxford Street and regain normal route. On that basis all inbound routes should be unaffected. All guess work based on the planned works but we will see.

Looks like Bull Ring will become a no go area for a few months whilst it becomes rammed with taxis!
Judging by how long Vicar St and High St have taken Exchange St could be closed for some time......

sam was in Kidderminster  today  and  WCC have put some notices up  saying that  the town hall stop will be out of use during  forth coming   town centre improvement but the oxford  street ones would still be in use as the street is only partly closed. and  the work  is taken a few weeks more

Thanks Cedric, looks like the buses will run as I suggested previously. As an aside, the Vicar St/High St works were meant to be complete by August and are only just being finished so Exchange St may be closed for longer than planned!

Do you mean Diamond posters or WCC posters or Both ? , they have gone from the bus station as well.
