@Winston I think that will be the case because not one of the brand new Diamond Streetlites have even arrived at Heysham docks yet. Which is a bit concerning.

@Winston When I passed on Tuesday the depot was rammed with dead buses it's getting ridiculous now at this rate when the non DDA Darts are withdrawn in January the depot will be full with just dead buses. There are still aposomely 20 non DDA darts still in service with Diamond across all depots.

So all those buses are to be withdrawn? That's a lot to replace. I thought the larger darts had DDA compliance work done on them? Seems very short sighted to buy the ex-Stagecoach ALX300s if that's the case.

Supposedly the 2 ex Stagecoach ALX200 Darts (30202/3) were brought up to DDA spec before being put in to service

Yes @Winston all they had done was had ramps installed to my knowledge nothing more than that

I'd be astonished if all that lot wasn't DDA, they might be old but some were only put back into service relatively recently and as such are likely to have mods needed, the ex Stagecoach ones had the "ironing boards" reinforced and ramps fitted. Many of those are sure to comply and if not, could be fairly easily converted if a few are needed to tide Rotala over the deadline

Isn't it basically ramps (fixed or removable), side destinations, ironing boards, wheelchair bays & extra hand poles to be DDA?

30516 didn't have a side destination last time I looked.

Its easy to see where the TVV darts have had their ironing boards reinforced.

30516 did have a blind on the side before it got re-painted (see picture: https://flic.kr/p/dxBHLD) but when it came back to Kidderminster and entered service it had been removed I didn't & still don't understand why unless of course it packed up and they couldn't be bothered to replace it...

Relatively useful summary of the Euro2 Darts but not a list of non DDA buses as has been discussed in other threads. At least all the Y reg MPDs plus certain other modified Darts will comply.

Couple of questions:

Isn't 20502 still in service as well though?
