They *look* in good nick so I wonder how many will have new lives as trainers, not necessarily with NX? Probably too old for potential electric conversion.

Who's says it's been withdrawn? As it's been allocated to the 11/11A today baring any issues found in garage.

I thought they stopped using Eclispe Mark 1's on Sundays anyway for ages, well before the withdrawals started?

(And when the pandemic kicked off, those didn't come out originally, due to the reduced number of buses needed. Only 1773 came out eventually, to replace an injured 2125!)
