I have seven; 4023/31/66/84/87/97/104 at PN - has one of those been moved? From my own notes I also have 4049/58/62 withdrawn but without a location (4047 is seemingly at/back at MS).

@paulb1973 - As I thought 4023 has gone, the six @ PN are 4031/4066/4084/4087/4097 & 4104

Yes, I assumed it was 4023 gone - there is a pic of it at MS floating around on Flickr.

Apparently a 'large operator' is taking 'several'.

I don't know who or how many.

Green Bus, who are selling them on NX's behalf have so far sold 9

I think they'll do well, for now.

I read on the BBC the other week, that London Mayor Sadiq Khan has some grand ambitions for all London buses to be electric or hybrid by 2018. If that's the case, and truly achievable, the second-hand bus market is going to become flooded in the next two years!

But I see the problem being that outside of London, there is little demand for London-spec vehicles, with dual-doors, which would cost money to convert. Even some of the early NX Tridents might be attractive to smaller operators.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

That is not what he said.

What he actually said was he wanted all new contracts starting from that date to be emission free at tailpipe. Even London cannot afford to replace 8000 buses in two years!

Stuharris 6360

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
