and btw, just to save a post, 681 have been stated as sold to PVS on October changes and yet it is still on the fleetlist

I think after Tony's recent updates - only one Optare Spectre is still left (4010) unless that one has gone too? And only 2 Volvo B6's left; 600/649 I believe. It seems there are a few other types hanging on [albeit withdrawn] 1504/7 at PE/MS, 3612, 7086 & 9955 at MS plus fire damaged 4355 at MS and accident-damaged 4520 at YW I assume too.

649 is now showing as untaxed ie not SORN on gov.uk so might have gone now?

1573 from Pensnett's reserve fleet looked to have had slave tyres fitted yesterday ready for it's one way trip north, there were also two buses missing next to it (can't remember what Mercs were parked there)

They are not all 'heading North' some are only going as far as Willenhall Commercials

new to  Hockley garage back in early 1999 for the 87s and in the evenings the 120 service when the routes inter worked, loved driving the plackys on the 120 , going up city rd tividale was a challenge for them, on the flip side you had mercs coming off the 120 at Dudley then change into the 87 seems rather wacky now,it saved a bus back then , my how it's all changed since then. In my time the lynxes, metrobuses, mercs, now the plackys have disappeared off those routes.

1707 went in to preservation some time ago. 1642 might have been one of the them & possibly another 170* example
