Did they have the nice bench seats?

I'm pretty sure they did have bench seats with the standard Metrobus chrome seat frames rather than plastic individual seat cushions as per the B6LE's

I didn't like 7084 and 7086. They should have stayed in Dundee. I had a ride on both of them whilst they were at West Bromwich. They didn't feel the same as other B6s 501 - 680. The chairs were as mentioned above but I felt it sort of was a mini Metrobus or something like that. Notice the middle window isn't small like other B6s, that's how I notice they were ex-Dundee.

That's because they were Darts, not B6s

Never mind then. I'll delete my comment.

Haha!  I see exactly what you mean!

Over on Flickr I found a load of scans of disposals-related WMPTE documentation from the one and only Fuzz Townshend, an example here:

I had no idea Fuzz was an old school busnut!
Don't you start.

Does anyone know how much bus breakers like Pvs for example pay for decommissioned buses. How come the b6le went to darlaston recycling  to be scrapped , being local should all nx scrap buses go there instead of dragging buses up the m6 to Barnsley , sure this can't be environmentally friendly. In Today's  climate big corporations want to be seen lowering there carbon foot print. Yes the new buses are more fuel efficient blah blah , just thought I,d put this question out there.

think it's quite sad to see buses that we have all come to love/hate in the last stages of there life.

I do hope someone will preserve a B6!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Damn, I must've walked past it without realising. Out of curiosity does it still have its blinds?
