Withdrawn Vehicles

West brom had two wrightbus crusader dart slf 7084 7086 they were withdrawn last year I think, very tidy looking vehicles , never drove one so could compare with the alexander alx100 example. Some drivers made comments to effects abosulute crap to drive. Are these rusting away at miller street. Would have thought these two would have found new owners being refurbed examples. Has anyone travelled on these two a passenger what were thoughts.

had 7086 on a 428 back in winter 2012. Worse than the b6 sheds of the time would be my opinion, as in poor suspension with an ageing interior

I'm pretty sure they did have bench seats with the standard Metrobus chrome seat frames rather than plastic individual seat cushions as per the B6LE's

Yeah, they did. I actually liked the Dart Crusaders, they were a decent ride, seemed quite nippy too

I hated them apart from the seats. But I like Wham! so my opinion is invalid

7084 and 7086 were dogs.

IIRC the steering wheel didn't come up very far, driver seat didn't go low enough, blinds were a bugger to change and the cab was vey small. was very glad when then went.

I think 1616 is at miller street not sure about 1612
