141E Quinton Toby Carvery from Merry hill (I therefore assume that said carvery is the one at the bottom of the expressway section where in the towards halesowen direction they have to turn off to head up to the church)

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

@the trainbasher it's the former Holly Bush pub, junction of Hagley Road West and Quinton Lane. I think that's where you meant anyway.

9E Colley Gate
140E Quinton Toby Carvery (but actually terminated at the Stag)

The Stag is a Toby Carvery isn't it?

The Stag is a Sizzling pub, the Toby Carvery is the former Holly Bush. Lots of 9Es to Holly Bush Hagley Road West in the days of Quinton garage but I've not known one terminate there for years.

Found it

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
