As I walked round onto Stratford Road this evening, 2229 was coming down from Camp Hill quite slowly. Displays showed 'Not In Service', but it was driving with hazard lights on. Which it did all the way down Stratford Road into Sparkhill, from what I could see while following behind on the 3.

Looked it up on BusTimes when I got home, it had done a short journey to Yardley on the 17 then turned round back to city, only to get as far as Bordesley station. No idea what then happened at that point, whether anything had actually happened to the vehicle, or whether it was just adjusted out of service due to late running and back to garage.

But should vehicles be running around with hazard lights flashing?

Was it driving slower than normal, could of been in limp mode and the driver put the hazards on to warn vehicles behind.

If the 41/46 are being withdrawn could we see some ALX400 B7TL at AG being withdrawn

Do the 4 and 4A now interwork during the day between Monday to Saturdays?

I think they interwork when the 4A goes to Solihull but on Gospal Oak trips they don't interwork

Some cones have been placed on Bromford Lane infront of St Margarets Rd stop and the stop by the nursery/Old Bromford Lane (RTI display still not working here to) in Ward End closing the inner lane off. People waiting at the stops but buses aren't stopping there, neither is there a  bus stop closed sign on either of the two stops as there certainly should be  or temporary stop in place. This is the 11C service only.

Bus stop closed sign telling people the nearest stop is really needed if NX aren't serving these 2 stops.

The floor of 4286 is covered in dog poo this morning and reeks. The bus needs a mop/clean.
Someone probably trodden in it on the way to the bus stop. 10:37 11C Perry Barr to Acocks Green.

Also very disappointed of AG today, the amount of delay for the 41 is very irratating and on Sundays / Saturdays, 4 should be more double decker as E200mmcs get crowded very easily. And if the E200mmcs are gonna stay at least up the frequency

NX has too many single deckers, which route should go single decker to enable doubles on the 4?

Problems in the week would obviously be to many single decks until more double decks join the fleet at some point.
I wonder if the 41 and 46 could use Scanias, as they were cutting them due to low usage not long ago? Or would there be capacity problems?

Though on Sundays the Garage will have more they can use surely?

The 41 and 46 principally use vehicles that cannot be used on city centre services.

There aren't enough compliant vehicles to make the 4 / 4A double-deck operated, unless of course you start having more single-decks on the 11A/C, which I'm sure many people wouldn't appreciate.
