See @Stu's post above Tony did say these will be used on the 5 and 73.
And to be honest i've seen quite a few on there now.
It was on Old Lode Lane heading into Solihull st 08:40 this morning.
Though 832 and 6843 were leaving a few  passengers behind on Old Lode Lane and Hobs Moat Road earlier today at 08:40 this morning with both buses full to capacity and driving straight past some of the stops. 832 seemed to be full to capacity (reduced capacity compared to a MMC) and 6843 was also full to capacity (the X2's are usually already full with passengers from Birmingham, Yardley and Sheldon at that time in the morning by the time they get to the Wheatsheaf going into Solihull.
Be that as it may, For people who are trying to tick these off in public service at AG they are hard to find, especially on a long winded circuit like that so a helpful post on here with times is hurting nobody. It is still more noteworthy than the platinum X21s and off route 4s that get posted daily...

I love Walsall buses

None of them are unusual in the slightest actually.
They're regular workings actually. E200 MMC are on the 73 and B7TL ALX400 are on the 72 most days.  @Eric Shaw @I love Walsall buses
The ALX400 will be common until 4660 - 79 are debranded from the 11, i'd Imagine? (Tony did say they're due to be debranded at some point so they can be used in Solihull).
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

835, 2207 and 2221 on the 73 today.

@Eric Shaw as has already been pointed out, Enviro200s are not unusual on the 73, they are the usual allocation alongside the B7TL ALX400s. This route interworks with the 5 (Birmingham to Solihull).

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

As they pass many colleges and schools a double decker is needed during school terms and AG now have 16 Volvo/Alexander Euro6's.

Do the full size MMC not cope, i've personally not seen any overcrowding when i've seen them on there?
2206 was also on there in the evening peak and seemed to be coping fine when I saw it.

When I said Enviro200, I was of course referring to both types now at AG.

Is the whole idea around the 1A patronage to and from the QE? Or are there other uses? If so, from what I've seen of it I can't see it lasting much longer. Everytime I see it there's a near enough empty Gemini going in or out of it.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

How many buses do you actually see? A very small percentage, you can not tell how well a route is doing from seeing a couple of buses a week

When I've been driving the 144 along Bristol Road I've seen a fair few 1As and they always have people on (and that's throughout the day) One peak time journey I saw must have had 25-30 passengers on too so I'm sure the route is doing ok.

4662 and 4677 are among the first to be done, and ironically both are on the 11C.
