Yes, its simple to open and close it, you just turn the handle and it opens up, setting an alarm of on the bus.
It happens all the time.

15 0f the 16 euro6 Volvo/Alexanders were out on the 72, 73 and 73E today. 4276 may have been on the 11A but I wasn't near enough to be sure. Pretty good for 17 year old buses which have probably done more than half a million miles.

Earlier on today saw a 11A going down church road stechford and at about half six saw a AG germini parked at the 11C/55 bus stop outside Aldi at fox and goose displaying 1

Due to some temporary lights, the 11A was diverted. Given you seen a 11A there, I'm assuming it went down there. 11C was seemingly unaffected.

Surely something has to be done to avoid using minibuses on busy routes like these at ALL COSTS, regardless of the usual excuse of "better than no bus" or "only available vehicle"

With most of the 46XX now debranded from the 11, other than a few. The 45XX are now being debranded.
4512, 4522 and one other have all been done so far. 4512 and the other one are on the 11C today. 4522 is on the 11A today.
Though why aren't they taking the internal route maps down, as they debrand them?

Problems on the AG 1 tonight i'm told.
I'm told drivers were getting lost and carrying on down Westbourne Road/Harborne Road toward Harborne, and then stopping the bus "to find out whats going on", unaware a diversion was in place in Edgbaston towards Five Ways.

I'm told drivers were getting lost and carrying on down Westbourne Road/Harborne Road toward Harborne, and then stopping the bus "to find out whats going on", unaware a diversion was in place in Edgbaston towards Five Ways.

It's only Highfield Road that's closed - just a right off Westbourne Road onto Vicarage Road takes you back up to Harborne Road to Five Ways. I'm surprised drivers who drive that route every day wouldn't know that.

Noticed the "Short Journey" bit on 4's & X12's and probably everything else has become "PART ROUTE"

Looks weird.
