I live on the S2 so know the operations like the back of my hand - two of the boards on the S2/S4 are Solo SRs, with one board allocated a Versa. Then the S11/15 as you say has a Solo SR. MFV hasn't been out on the routes for ages so only MFY,MFX and MFZ are out currently. We get a fair bit of stuff really as the SRs are terrible in reliability terms - so tend you get knackered solos or their E200 dart; we had a Black Diamond Solo yesterday.  :)

Could some of the Scanias be heading to Coventry to replace the mercs and possibly Geminis?

If anything is going to transfer to Cov would be more likely to be Eclipse 2s, seeing as Coventry already have some. ;)

The Geminis have still got a few years left in them, why would they need replacing?
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I heard the Geminis were transferring to AG?

They had a good deal before the Plaxtons arrived so that doesn't feel farfetched

It'll be good to be among the first in the country to be riding the new E200. I wonder if they'll have the ZF automated manual gearbox, as specified by Arriva and others, or the Voith like the earlier E200s.

Liberator9

I'll assume Voith considering all the recent Enviro deliveries have been - at least I hope so as the ZF automated manual isn't that great.

The MD has confirmed today that AG is to receive 50 new Enviro 200 full length Single decks in Crimson livery to operate the 37, 71 & 72 routes
Do we know what fleet numbers they'll have? Presumably as full length vehicles they'll be in the 2000s, not the 800s. 2301-50 would be good because AG had Crossleys in that series - my avatar is AG's 2328.

It's a bit early to tell, but I'd guess at them starting from 3001. Just for the benefit of the route allocators and AVL team. ;)

I've already suggested that the Platinums will be 3001 up. We'll see!

I was told by an AG source they are 2201-50

That would have been my second guess! I don't suppose your source knows when they will be coming?

I hope it's not any time soon.

But they wouldn't announce it if the deliveries are far away.
