Don't think this would be classed as noteworthy, but I saw 4780 on the 94 this afternoon. Seeing a different coloured double decker coming off Auckland Drive surprised me.

Not noteworthy no, 4780 has regularly been on the 94 over the last few months. And there is often an Omnicity on there, you are correct that 4780 is on there today and i'm sure 4777 was on there yesterday.
Also think this should be in the PB Garage thread.

94 at the moment often seems to get any PB double decker. I think today 4780, 4844, 7509, Gemini and the 09 plate E400 are on there.

Yea, sorry. Was trying to rack my brain for which garage the 94 was based at. My bad.

With the 2022 games athletes village no longer being built in Perry Barr, has this also delayed the move of PB garage? I assume the area will still be redeveloped at some point and the bus garage relocation is still going ahead?

It's still being built though and flyover works proceeding

Flyover works are different to the athletes village. Everything else still needs to be built for the games, but the athletes are now to be housed elsewhere.

Where's it going to then?

4482 on the 65 and 67 today.
Notice @Tony has a photo of this one on the WB 80 a few days ago on the main site.

So presumably the loans to WB are now returning, for September service increases in a few days time.

Sure 4485 has been on the 94's today and over the last few days. Have all the loans to WB returned now?

4850 just had 4 windows smashed with a hammer opposite warren farm health centre by two youths whilst on 33 5 mins ago. Apparently one of 3 today. Need to get the police down here

Before September the 28 was every 15 minutes and was augmented 28E between Dyas Road and Tyburn. Now the 28 is back to every 12 minutes and the 28E's have gone. Now they are full with people standing when the schools are on them. Surely this was thought out wrong.

Wander if that service could be rerouted away from the low bridge in Erdington and they can use double decker/any spare double deckers on it?
Could run via South Road in one direction and Resevior Road, Chudleigh Road, Marsh Lane the other way maybe. As I recall mention of South Road being tight.

Nice idea but I don't think spare double deckers, the 55 is going double deckers in October when it goes to BC so if double deckers went onto the 28, the singles would have to onto another route and probably cause the same problem. The only ways either the 28E's to be put back or the timetable changed the give the highest frequency between the busiest points of the route.

Spare deckers? They've got to find somewhere for the singles that the 55'll be losing. Short of physically putting out more vehicles like Steve has mentioned I doubt much else can be done.
