Saw a Platinum on the 94 this morning at Ward End at 09:30 going towards Chelmsley Wood, while I was wating for a bus towards the City Centre.
Noticed the destination display unusually said via Ward End on it. Unusual to see a 94 displaying that since usually:
The 94 displays via Castle Bromwich (or Castle Brom on the Gemini).
Usually only the 55 that displays via Ward End

Doesn't look like the Platinums out still, from what I saw.

It would've been 6826 (i was told it was on there) as BC now operate a morning peak board on the 94. It does the 94C school service beforehand then runs to work the 08:18 ex Chelmsley Wood, 09:14 from city.

Yes it was 6826.
I thought it read 6826. But wasn't 100% sure, as didn't know what a BC bus would be doing on there, so thought I must have been mistaken.
That does explain it then, thanks.

Rise in drunks and druggies too.
So I saw the driver of X3/X4/X5 Branded Platinum having to remove two drug addicts from the bus, using invalid tickets at Hodge Hill, Coleshill Road, Southbourne Avenue on the 94 towards Chelmsley on my way back from the shop. This was about 11AM - Midday this morning.
Same two drug addicts stood at a 94 bus stop on Coleshill Road around half an hour ago.

Surely anyone using dodgy tickets should be removed from the bus by the police, as totally doubt anyone travelling with dodgy tickets is going to be going anywhere essential. And totally unacceptable considering the country is supposed to be in a lockdown I think. After all if they tried to steal from the supermarket, they'd have been arrested surely. And in my view is this not the same thing.

Main site says 1910 is a Walsall bus? Has it transferred to PB?

Noticed yesterday 6996, hasn't had its destination display updated  like the other buses at Perry Barr have.
So was the odd one out of the buses on there yesterday displaying its old 94 blind. Not the new one that all the other buses that have been using over the past few weeks.

Presumably when they are off the road they don't get the displays updated.

Today I've seen 6798, 6799, 7506 and 33 branded 4849 on the 94. So not a return to pre lockdown allocation of mostly unbranded 09 Plate E400 and Gemini.
Presumably they will still mostly use newer vehicles where possible, with timetables still being reduced?
Though I have seen 4655 on the 11C.
