not to sure why they stopped the platinums but might have been more were needed for the Sutton routes so there wasn't much spare anymore but there does tend to be 1 or 2 on there now and again on a normal day

I think it may get an upgrade with the 45/47 (also getting debranded) I like getting new buses for the region but i like where the cascades happen because with my locals (15/16/17) getting the 49** from West Bromwich it's a nice change from the tridents xD.

45/47 hasn't been debranded yet, just 4897/4905 have been in for paint. Not saying there not going Platinum but it's only the same as what happened to the 51s batch. Would much rather proper E400s than Platinums though so somewhat hoping it doesn't happen  ;)

   I was under the impression that PB garage was to close a long time ago.... Presumably the depot
   is still operating?... Or is the depot now located somewhere else?... ??? ???

It's still operating from its old home at the moment. I believe a new home has been located further down Wellhead Lane, but it will take to to redevelop the land.

Really? I personally find the Platinums a big step up from the standard E400s at BC - quicker off the mark, and much nicer seating and legroom. I feel cheated when a standard E400 turns up on the 23. I even had to endure the indignity of a 97 branded Trident a few weeks back  ;)
