Surely would make more sense to put them on the 80, less PVR than the 127/128, occasionally gets spare Enviros anyway, putting them on the 127/128 wouldn't even fully upgrade the Warley corridor

The 80 iirc has 6 all day boards, 2 morning peaks and 1 afternoon peak. Which is where the idea I said to a friend of mine earlier came from, the 5 and 80?

The 5 Presidents can & most likely will be replaced with Euro 3 B7TL/ALX400's as there's no restrictions on emission requirements like Central Birmingham routes.

I saw an E400 (believe it was 4921) that has now been debranded

4917 has too. Just left Erdington City bound.

No Platinums made it out today

Rumour has it that Wolverhampton might need some newer stock before mid 2017 as Wolverhampton centre is going to a SQP...

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Why? The MMCs can't be much worse than the current Enviro400s!

I would miss the Enviro 400s like Hilary Clinton would miss Donald Trump.

That's what I thought until we had them! It's the door interlock which ruins them and they're even slower than the 48xx!

Great! I'm waiting to see if the stop-start affects pulling away from stops
