Does anyone know the identitiy of the two E400's of which were involved in a collision with each other either yesterday or Sunday? I heard it was a big big rear end smash but hazy with the details.

4909 is currently sat in Yardley Wood garage with its rear having some repairs. Could this be one of the victims ?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I saw 4139 for the first time after refurb/repaint. Looks weird seeing such an old Trident so smart next to a battered 46-hundred.

I forgot that 4139 had been refurbished

I saw 2 70E's to Chelmsley Wood yesterday evening. Have the evening E journeys been extended to Chelmsley Wood now or were these just running late? I thought they terminated at Coleshill in the evening.

70Es run to Chelmsley Wood after the last Solihull journey (leaves Birmingham at 4.50pm), every 30 minutes from 17.20 to 19.20 (from Birmingham). The next journey from Birmingham at 8pm and the rest of the nights journeys terminate at Coleshill.

What runs on the 70Es/56? Is it still Tridents or B7RLE these days?

Tridents. A B7RLE is very rare.

Should be as the one that was hit was on the 957.

The other could well be 4899.

The destinations must not have been updated.

4169 may have been away for refurb when the 90 changed to the 70, and the destinations not updated when it returned
