Just a couple of questions about the 70 as I haven't had the time to try out the route yet. Does it take the same way as the 72 between Chelmsley Wood and Marston Green, via Berwicks Lane, or does it take Moorend Avenue with the 14? Also, does it go into Solihull Station or does it terminate at the town centre?

It does the same route as the 72 between Chelmsley Wood and Solihull :)

Thanks :) I would have thought the low trees along the Coleshill Road would be an issue for a double decker. I'm sure I heard an AG driver talking about driving a double decker on the 72 once and he thought the front windows on the top deck were going to come through.

Solihull council have trimmed them all

Double-decks used to be commonplace on the 72 before, but it might not have gone down Coleshill Road previously, can't be sure.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

This was after the changes were made. At this point the 72 did go down Coleshill Road and it was on a Sunday they'd had a double on there. I overheard a conversation between some drivers at Solihull Station.
