One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Several evening peak journeys on the 14 get even longer at Pine Square, up to 29 minutes. The old 590 used to get 28 in City every trip

Would have thought, the layover would have been in Solihull myself than town, didn't know it was that long to be honest

Does any NXWM route beat the 241's evening/Sunday layover in Halesowen of 35 minutes?

Would the 241 have previously interworked with a service no longer operated by NX?

Niall

I saw a 70E this afternoon, displaying 70E on the front and back displays, but the side still showed 90E.

No, I think you are thinking of the 244, which previously interworked with the 243 at Dudley. The 241 still interworks with the 140 at Dudley.

trident4370

Random question but has the Trident 11 board stopped running as I haven't seen it for the last 2 days now, or does it not run during the holidays?

Didn't NXWM used to operate the 417 between Halesowen & Hayley Green at night? Don't think that it interworked with the 241, sure a PE Solo used to operate it.

If I recall correctly. the 417 NXWM Evening service was operated by them following the Dudley Network Review in April 2008, and it always interworked with the 241 during it's Halesowen layover.

Anyone know if there have been changes to or mergers of the Harborne and Weoley Castle rotas at BC? Noticed a few 22/23 drivers driving the 24 or 29 this week and one or two vice versa.

Could just be covering for holidays with it being school half term I suppose.
