4633 was on the 957 today and it was my bus into Birmingham this morning :)
60 Birmingham - Cranes Park
72/72A Solihull Station - Chelmsley Wood
73 Solihull - Heartlands Hospital
X1 Birmingham - Coventry
X2 Birmingham - Solihull Station
A10 Solihull - Cranes Park / Chelmsley Wood

I think the 07:15 BC 9 from Halesowen goes onto the 60 later on in the morning as I seen 4620 operating the 07:15 today and then around 11am at Yardley I seen 4620 again this time on the 10:50 60 ex Cranes Park

That 9 board BC runs is Garage - Garage, so most likely that 60 is a late leaver from garage or a change bus.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

4445 did the 7:24 9 from Halesowen this morning, then saw it on the 14 this evening, is this just another coincidence?

Anyone know why these BC 829 journeys, which the 9s become, now operate along Hagley Road, Sandon Road (then presumably City Road, Portland Road?) to St Paul's School, instead of directly along Hagley Road then Portland Road as per the 127/8/9, like they always used to?

Matt. Once 4445 has finished its portion on the 9, it'll go back to garage and then it'll be allocated work on an afternoon peak board, or given as a change bus. Unless it has been allocated a short working to get it back to garage for a VI or other work.

Isn't there still roadworks there? I may have my wires crossed as I know there was issues with St Paul's direct route as there was roadworks.

I thought that was the case, just checking.

I think YW are short of vehicles and AG were losing milage on the 11 if I've heard that correctly :)

I know mate hence my previous sentence.

But what got me was when Tony stated that the 11 is a BC bus, AG route and PB driver! As always, you can rely on BC to help you out..

One thing I did notice about 4631 is that it again had YW Matrix (unlike the BC 11 which has BC programming), and a definite YW driver, it also appeared to leave Hawkesley NIS. Also saw 4111 on the 11E this morning so that is back at AG, could be that the drivers are borrowing a different vehicle each morning and setting it all up at YW? Only thing to contradict this would be that 4631 was on the same board as 4154 yesterday.

Is BC going to be operating journeys on the 72 when the new timetables start then?
