One of the new branded buses on the 900 uses NXC ticket paper roll, I wonder why and how they got them if they're based at BC garage.

It must have ran out and the driver did not have any spare. So to get some, they may have had to ask a driver on a bus in Coventry for some, or went into the garage to ask for some

I remember when I was at BC they were going to start a trial on the 900 which uses NXC ticket rolls, to coincide with the branding.

I don't know if that is relevant.

Forgive me since I never bought paper tickets, but isn't having NXC ticket means NXWM buses might reject it because they might think it's only valid for NXC buses?

Well you're supposed to read what's on printed text ;)

But sometimes, yes. However, if passengers just showed the bloody tickets properly in the first place, you wouldn't have a problem. The drivers are in the right here, its the passengers who have got it wrong.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

All Daysavers etc. are valid on both NXWM and NXC buses aren't they?

Checked it on the website, apparently it is.

NXWM is valid in NXC, NXC day saver is void in NXWM. You have to specify you want a £3.90 if buying in Coventry.

Regional Daysavers yes (the £3.90 ones). The Coventry Daysavers (£3.70) are only valid on NX services in the Coventry area.

An interesting diversion on the 900 today, which I have just been told about. It was diverting away from the Coventry rd at Sheldon, down Valley Rd, Old Lode Lane. I bet S10 passengers were shocked to see a double decker down Valley Rd, comparded to the usual Solo or occasional e200!

When did this occur? I used the 900 today and there was no diversion :(

The notice is still up on the NWM website, advising that due to a lane closure on the Coventry Road the S10 was suffering delays; I guess as a result some 900 journeys towards Birmingham were being diverted also.
