Thanks for the confirmation on the Sutton Lines LS. Karl posted in the PE thread that there would be more Tridents and B7RLEs to replace Mercs and logically you would think these would come from BC. I'm interested to see what sequence of vehicle cascades might happen to allow that.

Would love to see B7 Geminis at BC but very much doubt that will ever happen.

Closest you've come to that is one being on the 900 once!

Why did that happen, does anyone remember?

Short of buses, one off rarity like the Omnilinks you get on a regular one off. Just to cover the PM peak I think it was.

I think my money is still on the 16 early E400's leaving PB for BC to allow Tridents & B7RLE to cascade to PE.

AG will more than likely need additional single deckers for increased frequencies on the 71/72, which could also come from PB in the shape of further Omnilinks due to 71A being withdrawn & 638 having a frequency reduction

I expect WB may also be involved with further ex PB ALX400/Gemini

Oh no it will never be Geminis, the engineers put a stop to that ages ago! But as Winston said it will be early E400's (which could be a possible temporary transfer until the Pershore E400 comes, then they might move somewhere else)

Based on what Simon NXOD said, I'm thinking the early E400's may move to BC until early next year when the Pershore Rd is delivered, then they may move back to PB for the 94 which was quoted as also being due to be upgraded in Feb 2014 with newer vehicles than at present

All these ideas sound about right, there are 25 more Enviro's to come, presume all for PB? With 15 Enviro's to BC, and then 10 ALX400's to WB directly withdrawing more Mercs.
BC then have even more Trident's to play with some more to PE, maybe more to YW, some to be kept to increase DD % with a few B7's to PE meaning maybe a total of 20ish Merc's can be gracefully retired after a life of strong service as some of PE and WB's examples are really quite worn now

All sounds like a plan to me, whether its anything like NXWM's plan, we'll just have to see

There are 26 E400's outstanding and up too 16 x early E400's could leave PB if 4698 was included.

However, more interestingly, 4218's fate is still unknown.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Just to clarify for Nathan4775, 4313/14/15/58/59/90/93 went to Yardley Wood not Pensnett.

Yes, thanks Matt I should've stated that.  :P

But in all seriousness, does anyone know if 4218 will come back to BC?

In addition; 4139 is looking in a sorry state after, what looks like, an overall side advert removed. That'll be the next one at Walsall I expect.

I agree LS 4139 deserves a refurb got on 4139 on the 60 a week or two ago and some of the seats are worn

Oh without a shadow of a doubt, its rough. The upper saloon has damaged seat backs, all burnt and damaged and etched.
