Too right it would. I lived on the 50 route near Kings Heath when Spectras were the allocation, then they followed me to Harborne. Was gutted when they left for Wolverhampton.

And now have them on the 59 Monday-Saturday( They never ever leave the garage on Sundays) My favourite Spectras are 4001/2 and 4019 (Sounds alot like a Metrobus). The worst has to be 4003 (A driver at WN agrees with me) as it is very slow and is usually the one on the 59 that breaks down

4003 was one of the best when at BC. Just you WN folk don't know what a good Spectra is lol

Sorry Matt but why do you always say WN "mess up buses"? PE' s maintenance team aren't much better are they?

I dare say PN's engineers do a much better job than the impression I get of WN's ones. PN keep making buses faster and better (look at 581, 4806 and 4807 for example) whereas a lot of WN's Mercs are slow and tatty, Tridents seem to get clapped out more than other garages which have Tridents, plus look at 4384, was fine at YW before it went to WN.

Plus how would you know what 4384 was like at YW before it moved to WN as you never even rode it at YW (And don't say because someone told you)

Because someone told me. Someone who knows a fair bit about YW buses. Plus look how many Tridents which have been at WN all their life have become all clapped out - 4554, 4571, 4594, 4603, probably more which I can't remember. Yet the 44** and 46** Tridents at BC don't really seem to be that clapped out at all - Liverpool Street?

Nope. None 44 or 46 at BC are rough. The LH 44's are slightly shoddy though.
