The 17.08 x2 from city comes in as an x1. Then it does 18.13 solihull to city and goes back onto an x1 again.

Does anybody know why the cones are still blocking the bus lane on the Bristol Road nearby the Bear & Staff pub? There's literally nothing happening there. The roadworks are the other side of the traffic lights by the old Sainsburys.
Kinda slows things down for the 61/63 and ☓20/☓21.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

2137 was on bc36 today.

That must have replaced either 4618 or 4367 that were on there about 1400 then

4367 was still out later on so must have been 4618 that was swapped. 2137 did the 1635 from A Grn towards Heartlands.

They tend to cone it off way before any lanes are closed now. Must be health and safety.
The old bus lane next to the old Sainsburys will never return, it will be another cycle way. A handful of cyclists will benefit, while buses full of people every few minutes have to now wait in the queue.

Surely not? I fail to see the point in that. The bus lane would be a lot more beneficial than a cycle way that nobody will use.

Looks like the temporary traffic lights by Church Road are playing up causing mass queues on Edgbaston Park Road, Arthur Road and Wheeleys Road.

The reliability for the 23 coming from town is quite shocking on the mornings, I've been waiting here for half an hour and only one bus has arrived fully packed.
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

It's been awful in both directions just lately. The 23/24 were running generally ok but things seem to have taken a turn for the worse with the latest Broad St diversions. I've had a few waits of around 20 minutes both to and from work on the 23 lately. This morning I caught one immediately but it was one of 3 running together. On one evening last week there were 4 24s within 5 minutes of each other from city.

The X20s have been just as bad this week to be honest. Every day there appears to be adjusted workings.
6892 is my journey home on a short working to Weoley Castle today.
There has been some bad traffic about though.

And 45/47 have gotten worse lately, though not helped bus fair few sets of roadworks on the route.

No, you're right. I mentioned that here the other day. Those lights are a nightmare anyway. That right turn onto Church Road from Edgbaston Park Road causes most of the problems on a normal day. Because all it takes is for one vehicle to want that right turn and everyone else behind has to wait because of the oncoming traffic the other way and by the time they turn it's gone red again. It's not flowing very well because there's only one lane each time way. The right turn needs to either be banned or regulated. You can't turn from Arthur Road onto Church Road so I don't see why they can't ban the other turn too. Would make such a difference.
