Your comment doesn't make any sense. Buses are as quick or slow as traffic congestion and timetable scheduling will allow them to be.

It makes perfect sense. The buses get stuck in Birmingham and therefore become late therefore when they reach the likes of QE to Bartley green they seem to be keen to reduce This delay.

They do feel like they can shift a bit when pushed - decent acceleration and they feel like they hold their gears a bit longer than the 48xx and 49xx E400s at BC.

Noticed today the first of this season's LED adverts have arrived, for the film The Grinch. 4945 and 4946 doing the honours.

4947 too.

With Euro Bus Expo in just a day or two, I suppose preparations would be starting imminently to get things ready in time. (i.e. stallholders & buses to be heading to the NEC, and so forth)

Re: 6687, I'm wondering whether anybody in the know would be allowed to tell us when it's due to leave Birmingham Central?

Thanks in advance.

I saw X1 branded 6849 come down Winson Green Road and Icknield Port Road by the City Hospital earlier today being driven by an engineer, at about 11:15 - 11:30.
Unusual to see a BC bus in that area of the City.
Does anyone know where it had been, it looked as if it was returning back to BC as it was heading for Five Ways.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

In 2016, Birmingham Central ran a fundraiser service (number 666) on the evening of Halloween for Birmingham Childrens' Hospital. I could've sworn the service ran for two consecutive years, though, the NXBus website appears to have proved me wrong. That aside...

Earlier this year, prior to the July 22nd changes, I recall a Platinum parked up at the X61 stop on Park Street; displaying '666 City Loop, via Ghoulsville'. I was on another bus at the time and got off on Moor Street Queensway; by the time I walked back to Park Street, it had gone!

I was just wondering, is this blind still programmed onto Birmingham Central buses? (Not the most pressing question, admittedly.)

Good number of Platinums on the 61 and 63.

I don't think this is unusual.
Evertime I see the route there are a few on there.
I think I saw 3 yesterday. 6850 and 6891 were on the 61/63 today.

Neither Tridents or Platinums are noteworthy on the Pershore Road @WestMidlandsTravels

You must know this judging by the amount of times you have posted posts and pictures of both types on Facebook

23/24 branded Platinum on the 23 is currently displaying 23 'Bartley Green Thank You 100' on the destination display. Strange.

Something to do with Remembrance Day?

4155 also has it. It's on the 41 in Walsall

@Dom @Tony

I have a job for you sort out the mess that is priory Queensway. Why have the 61,63,x20,x21, and x22 alll on the same stop? Just now the x21 and x22 have just unloaded passengers in the middle of the road because the 61 and 63 were blocking it. Numerous buses then went on the wrong side of the road to get past. Not very good at all. Health and safety would be mortified

Probably to do with the war memorial at the Interchange on Romsley Road - I assume there is a good amount of ex / veterans living in the area but I could be completely wrong here
