6837 is now also minus its X61 branding.

Maybe the first formal notification we'll have of the service changes is when buses start appearing with 23/24 or X22 etc branding...

I fully expect people to be waiting on the Harborne Park Road for a 29 that won't be showing up...
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

6836 has lost the X61 branding as well.

reinstated reserve fleet vehicle 4183 is back out in use at BC today. It's not tracking as it is still in the system as a YW bus from its last stint. Appears to have done a school from Cranes park

6839 now lost its X61 branding, on the 24.

4944 turned up in Coleshill this afternoon still displaying X70 Chelmsley Wood, despite going to Birmingham,
it seemed to confuse quite a few passengers, with quite a few asking if its going to Birmingham at Coleshill Parkway,
a fairly large group of passengers at the Chelmsley Wood stand on Coleshill Parkway tried to flag it down and looked quite annoyed as it drove past them, the driver must have realised after that as it said X70 Birmingham when I got of.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

R.I.P X61 4/12/16 - 21/7/18

You was taken from us far to early, but you are remembered with great affection.

True words! A bit more commitment and it wouldn't be going!

I'll miss the X61 - I honestly think it's a mistake getting rid
I would love to understand how they arrive at some of the decisions they make.

If this thing about introducing a congestion charge within the Birmingham Middle Ring Road (A4540) happens, what will this mean for the future of Birmingham Central garage? In terms of staff driving to work? Will the garage be relocated? If not, I can't see this garage being popular with staff, in terms of commuting.

Perhaps I'm a bit late to the party but have all the latest Platinums had the micro hybrid conversion already?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

No - from the small visible telltale signs (unless this has changed and I stand to be corrected) there are still only 6855 and 6856 that have been done.

A few more have been done in the 688* series.
