5502 on 22/23 today if anyone wants it, 22s outbound and 23s inbound to City I think.

Just seen it on a 22 out of city. Still looks wrong in my opinion. Smart yes, but so was the green.

4945 displaying 29 - Northfield tonight with Five Ways, Harborne and Weoley Castle scrolling underneath. It's happened before but not for a while. A sign that the curtailing to Northfield is happening?

Twice recently I've been on a 29 where it's carried on down Northfield Road instead of turning right down Quinton Road, having to turn back on itself after realising the mistake. New drivers or something?

The 29 is on the same rota as the 22/23 these days so maybe the driver forgot which he was on. Did it turn round at the War Lane / Fellows Lane roundabout?

Yeah it did, there's nowhere else he can turn before that. I understand that but unless they're new they' should be able to cope?

Also why does the 29 and X64 both leave Weoley Castle Square at exactly the same time during the day on a Sunday? Coincidence most likely but it's slightly frustrating.

Are there any plans in the pipeline for Harborne services to revert to their original line of route out of town (Colmore Row, Great Charles St) or is the route via New St station a permanent arrangement? I ask because the time taken for buses to get round town, once you've factored in evening peak driver change over, is frankly ridiculous. I get that the current route creates some useful connections but on a group of services that already suffers enormous delays and absurd journey times, they can ill afford to lose that much time looping the city centre.

I boarded 5518 at 17.26 on Livery St this evening, and it finally got round Holloway Circus at 17.54. In future I'll be walking to Broad St to catch it by the ICC.

The City loop has encouraged passenger growth, it's a long walk from Smallbrook Queensway to Colmore Row. The reason for the new buses on the Harborne Corridor is a deal between Birmingham Council and NXWM to provide some Bus Lanes on Harborne Road to speed up the journey times.

I do get that it provides valuable connections but Holloway Circus is a nightmare at the moment, something needs to be done to try to address traffic flows and priorities for traffic emerging from Smallbrook Queensway. Look forward to seeing new bus lanes on Harborne Road.

Strange that, passengers actually wanting to go across town on the same bus rather than walking from one route across town to another just to travel just three stops
*cough* 66 *cough* cross city *cough*
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
