They no longer need to thrash them, not so many passengers to pick up on the 244, hence why they run in time.......

I'm yet to see a 244 as busy as the 99s were between Halesowen and the QE.  Of course that could all change now passengers don't have the 142 option.

There wasn't any on the 24! Are E400's too slow for you? Anyway the 24 just gets the spare Hybrids, so you won't see one on it everyday.

You see Hybrids on the 24 most days to be honest. And I wouldn't have thought that the branded ones are classed as spares?

4616, I believe is going to operate the 22:48 Coleshill - City Centre and 23:30 City Centre - Kinshurst,
the last Coleshill - Birmingham City Centre journey on the 70 and the last Birmingham City Centre - Kingshurst journey on the 56.
After that the 56 will be withdrawn and so will the 70 other than 1 school journey in each direction.

Just about on topic but the house at which 4875 ended up in the front garden is up for sale. The trauma of having a double decker demolish their garden and car must have proved too much.
