One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Tridents aren't unusual on 45/47 as they mix in with the Enviro 400's

Please clarify.

It's been moved onto the same stand as the 9 & 141 so now when the 99 is laying over the drivers decide to park half way along the stand so we have to pull in at an angle and leave the back end of our buses blocking the road like the 141 did Friday.

Isn't the 9 & 141 stand busy enough without the 99 being moved on to it as well?

As of this moment, three BC buses are bunched together on the 24, heading citybound - currently at Snow Hill. They are 4171, 4897 and 4942.

Why are there still tridents on the 24? I thought there were enough Enviro 400s for the 24, Pershore Road and 60?

I haven't the foggiest, if I'm honest. Tridents on the 24 still seem to be a common occurrence, in my experience at least - the only other routes that uses the Tridents, in addition to the 97/A is the Bristol Road corridor, isn't it? And the 14, with their branded 46**'s?

Had that 'Spectre' branded Trident on the 24, going towards the terminus today - where I then caught 4897 into City Centre. 4942 was doing the 22/s - one of the two, but I saw the display change to the 24 at Centenary Square, when it overtook 4897.

Tridents are far less common than they were, from my observations maybe only one or two a day on average, occasionally none. It is largely E400s supplemented with B5LHs from what I see.

I assume that's when the 73 will be transferring? Forgot about the 70, and 56, though - the 56 only work during the evenings, IIRC?

Not entirely contradicting myself here, but I agree. The majority of the E400s on the 24 seem to be the exWA ones, I find - and even today, I believe that even the amount of B5's outweighed the numbers of Tridents? There may have been 3 or more Hybrids on the 24 today (saw three in Harborne this morning) - with at least 2 tridents? I may certainly be wrong here. :\

Yes the 73 will transfer and the 70 will only operate between the City Centre and Chelmsley Wood on the 15th
The 56 interworcks with the 70 during the evenings and on Sundays. The only time the 56 operates.
