No.

Its book on, say, 1000, and you start on the road at Adderley St at 1020.

Book on time varies according to which route, if you take over on the road. All routes out of garage have 15 minutes in the morning to do VCR check, 10mins if you leave base in the afternoon.

Harborne has 40 or 45 mins book on (can't recall exactly maybe @BC Driver can help)

New Street buses, Great Park Pershore Bristol has 30 mins

70 has an hour I expect to get to Mackadown , or 1/2hr city relief , same for the 14

97/Coventry road has 20mins book on

Helps, I hope

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

@iansdavies I have absolutely zero idea how that works.

I mean me and pals many years ago used to ruin the service by leaving late , we all leave at the same time like 30mins late and race to town, straight down Corp St and back out again just to do it again on your next trip! Good, but very bad, old days ha ha ha

Is that the one which starts journey outbound at Adderley St? If so then yes.

So that duty would start 0613, leave depot 0628 start service 0633 Add-outbound

so that would be 613 plus 725 finish at 1338

Mike K

5501 was emerging, not in service, from Richmond Hill Rd and doing a right at the mini roundabout onto Pritchatts Rd in Edgbaston at around 3 o'clock. Not a route normally taken by buses whether in service or not. I know there was an RTA causing problems close to the White Swan in the morning rush hour but surely nothing to do with that this much later in the day?

Not particularly. Chances are he'll do that 0633 departure from Add St, and then probably another round 59, then relief outbound, have an hour break, then back on for two or three 60's

You don't know until you look at the duty sheets.
