@Rhys S
what time did you see 6718 and was heading Coventry or Birmingham way?

Knowing what times 6718 operated, and what times Rhys claims to have got home, and the fact he can't remember what time he saw it (facebook message), I suspect he has not actually seen it!

If anyone does really want to see it it should operate the 19:06 from Birmingham, but will probably be a few minutes late

Sorry, yes 6718 was due into Birmingham at 19:06, leaves on the 19:30 departure, currently parked up in Park Street, round the back of Hotel LaTour

Sorry but Tony you seem to be. Very discriminating against me the last few days
And facebook has nothing whatsoever to do with wmbip

I don't like lies posted on the forum. Tell me where & when you saw 6718 and I will apologise

It was safely tucked away inside BC garage when you 'saw' it, and it was not in service when your brother saw it.

It is on running board 900-10, first trip it did in service was the 15:03 from the Airport into Bimringham

How long would it take to get from BC garage to the Airport to take up the 1503 journey?

Is that the one that sounds like a tank?

Extremely beasty. Sounds very powerful, almost aviation-like.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I'm sure it's on the 24 today, but it definitely was a 444* vehicle - very artillery like. Good character, I'd say, well, from the outside at least. I walked past it on Harborne High Street, after school.

I saw, well heard it go under the bull ring a couple of weeks ago but didn't know the fleet number or how to describe it.
