Thanks Everybody.

Have the timetables changed? Noticed some BC Harborne services running later than usual...

No, How do you tell on routes like Harborne? or do you mean late night buses?

I'm so sorry. I should've specified. It was the 24. For the past two days (not today) it hadn't arrived for the 08:05 departure. Thanks for your reply. Again, sorry, as I should've specified. :)

It was 808. This 23A journey is always a single decker as it comes into Birmingham as a 29 (there's some complex inter workings on Harbornes on some journeys shortly before midnight). Mind you,not common to be on the 24/29 at night, let alone the board that becomes the last 23 from town.

I saw either 808 or 809 pass Rubery Morrisons at about 2110 on Monday night whilst on the 144, seemed abit small but only had about one passenger on

The contracts and the vehicle passed to Veolia with the staff involved TUPE'd over as well. The routes are mostly those currently operated by DeCourcey

Ah yes those scania coaches used to be familiar site round here where I live bombing up down the Wolverhampton road hard to believe that was 10 years a go. These scanias caused quite a stir when new being highly distinctive from the usual boxes , levante,s look boring by comparison.

A branded 900 was involved in an accident at Bordesley Circus this morning which resulted in the attendance of all three emergency services. I couldn't see the damage or the fleet number as I was on a 73 going into the city.

The ambulance was not attending any incident regarding the bus. 801 was parked up due to a coolant leak.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
